From the President…

Greetings and welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Theta Pi Omega Chapter.  Chartered in 1967, Theta Pi Omega proudly serves the counties of Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester in New Jersey.  

Under the leadership of our International President and CEO, Charletta Wilson Jacks and the Regional leadership of North Atlantic Regional Director, Tonja L. Ringgold, Theta Pi Omega is dedicated to Service to All Mankind.  

The International program theme for 2026-2030 is Championing Service, Empowering Sisterhood and Transforming the World and is based on eight initiatives. AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope serves as the administration’s signature program and is a compassionate call to action to uplift vulnerable children and families. The eight targets serve as our strategic areas of focus and include:

Undergraduate Impact Program

These initiatives are designed to improve the lives of those we serve. Theta Pi Omega Chapter is one of the largest chapters in the state of New Jersey with more than 300 dedicated members. As a chapter, we are committed to executing the directives that ensure we champion service, empower sisterhood and transform the world!

Additionally, our chapter is proud to serve our community through two legacy programs. Our Cotillion, established in 1990, is held every other year and allows us an opportunity to pour into young women and men in our community through a nine-month process. Our ever-popular Senior Buddy Luncheon is held in December and is our way to kick start the holiday season in grand style with members of our senior community.

Theta Pi Omega Chapter is “Committed to Lead with L.O.V.E.” -L.O.V.E. is an acronym that challenges us to leverage our sisterhood, optimize opportunities, value our commitment to serve all mankind and execute in excellence.
