From the President…

Greetings and welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Theta Pi Omega Chapter.  Chartered in 1967, Theta Pi Omega proudly serves the counties of Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester in New Jersey.  

Under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed and the Regional leadership of North Atlantic Regional Director, Elicia Peguese Spearman, Esq., Theta Pi Omega is dedicated to Service to All Mankind.  

The International program theme for 2022-2026 is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood and is based on six initiatives. Strengthen Our Sisterhood serves as the administration’s “Foundation Initiative” as we strengthen our bonds to support our service mission. The remaining five initiatives serve as the “Program Initiatives” and include: 

Empower Our Families

Build Our Economic Wealth

Enhance Our Environment

Advocate for Social Justice

Uplift Our Local Community

These initiatives are designed to improve the lives of those we serve. Theta Pi Omega Chapter is one of the largest chapters in the state of New Jersey with more than 300 dedicated members. As a chapter, we are committed to executing the directives that ensure we soar to greater heights in service and sisterhood.

Additionally, our chapter is proud to serve our community through two legacy programs. Our Cotillion, established in 1990, is held every other year and allows us an opportunity to pour into young women and men in our community through a nine-month process. Our ever-popular Senior Buddy Luncheon is held in December and is our way to kickstart the holiday season in grand style with members of our senior community.

Theta Pi Omega Chapter is “Committed to Lead with L.O.V.E.” -L.O.V.E. is an acronym that challenges us to leverage our sisterhood, optimize opportunities, value our commitment to serve all mankind and execute in excellence.
